An Open Letter to Readers & Bloggers

Dear Blog-Friends,

Over the last (I think) 3 years, I have enjoyed your company. Better said, because of you, I have had more courage and self-appreciation.

It is with deep regret that I sadly tell you...I am quitting blogging.

My life is very full now - my daughter, husband, brother, school, dogs, cats, house. I just don't have the time to dedicate to this blog.

I thank all of you for your help and support. Please feel free to comment or email me (if you put your email in a comment, I won't post the comment).

Almost Ready

Thank you to those who have posted comments and sent me private messages asking about my newest site. It is almost ready!

My biggest problem is not content but the naming of the blog! All the names I've come up with are good ones, but these names could lead the "wrong" people to THIS anon blog! That would be a disaster! I'm working on it....

My second biggest problem is the back ground. I don't want to be stuck with what Blogger has to offer. But, since they "revamped" things, I cannot get a background picture to show up - correctly or at all! So, if anyone has a suggestion or helpful hints on how to add a background, please, please let me know!

Time...

I was making time - well, I'm not that powerful (snicker). Seriously, I had time. Now, it is gone again. Why? Work. I don't mind the money - the electric bill needs paid - but I mind the loss of "me" time. Which, includes, this blog (and my other blog that I can't mention here :)

One thing I will find time to do is put links on this page to those blogs that I visit. If you find yourself on the list, and you don't want to be there, let me know. If you don't find yourself on the list and you want to be there, let me know that too!

Oh, give me a day or two to get the list up, please.

And, thanks to everyone who has commented. You deserve "real" replies - that may take a day or two, too.

Did you know that David Bowie's real name is David Jones? He decided to change it to Bowie so as to not be confused with famous Monkee, Davy Jones.

Moving over to the New Blogger has been an exercise in stupidity; not mine, the one of Blogger.

Why can I not have a picture as my background? HellifIknow!
Why can I not use a CSS and must now use XML RSS? See above.

Luckily, I happened across this lovely template while scampering the net.

The price we pay for beauty

As near as I can figure, I'll need to post all the photos I want to use in my template in a blogger post and then refer to them. I just can't find another way to do it.
Flickr is no help; nor is Photobucket or ImageShack.

If anyone has any ideas, please, let me know! Until then, deal with this post!
